Well done writing this article. Great have the comparative data with Manchester. Also, great to remind everyone that Glasgow’s diminished tax base was the direct result of Tory government policy. Does Holyrood have the courage to reverse it?

Yes, Glasgow may well be doing better than Manchester, but those of us on the periphery feel the effects of the centralisation around our "second city". That's the chip on my shoulder.
