I haven’t written about the events engulfing the SNP recently: the police search of the home Nicola Sturgeon shares with her husband Peter Murrell, the arrest and release without charge of Murrell and the party Treasurer Colin Beattie.
Good piece. I think the endless supply of mud from a very organised supplier to the MSM in the hope that something, somewhere will stick, coupled with the carefully chosen incriminating language and innuendo indicates this is a very high level operation being deliberately pushed. The intention is that this will undermine and subvert the SNP and take the wheels off the only realistic vehicle for independence, with a loss of membership and votes.
They have realised they can’t win at the polls and other methods intended to shave the vote haven’t worked, so insinuating scandal is the only thing left to work with. To be honest, the procedures centrally may have left a vulnerable spot, but nothing that requires this level of deliberate suspicion.
I think you have summarise recent events really well, it's just a pity that the rest of the British media, could not copy your example, but then again, they have a different agenda.
Thanks for this , is balanced ,and realistic . In the face of frankly hysteria from the majority of media .
Thanks for that Jackie.
Excellent piece. The campaign against the SNP is in full swing.
Why is this an excellent article?
It says nothing new. Karma is a thing.
Indeed, and it's being led by the SNP themselves. I used to write against the SNP< now I dont bother.
